Champ Fungi has a staff strength of over 150 which consists of management and farm staff. We have staff with extensive experience in the mushrooms growing industry and our farm staff are highly trained on all aspects of safety and quality practices regarding mushroom handling in order to maintain a proper cold chain from picking to the shelf.
Director
Tony Kampen
Tony Kampen is the Director of Champ Fungi. His passion for mushrooms led to the establishment of this company in 2003. He has been involved in the set-up and growing process at the farm since day one. He continues to be involved in the expanding business activities of the farm, including new products and markets.
Director - Finance
Cindy Roe
Cindy is the Financial Director of Champ Fungi. She has been involved with the company before the start of operations and overseas all financial aspects of the business. As part of the current management team she evaluates new opportunities and works to put systems in place to manage the growth.
General Manager Singapore
Robin Yau
Robin is the general manager of Champ Fungi Singapore which he has set-up in 2006. He has been leading in setting up the channels of distributon for Champ Fungi in both Malaysia and Singapore. Robin has over 20 years of experience in the fresh produce industry which includes mushroom growing, sales & marketing and import/export of high end fresh produce. He currently overseas all Sales and Marketing issues in the company including new products and market expansion.
Farm Manager
Mark Lemmens
As production manager, Mark overseas the the growing process from raw materials to harvest. He is a Belgium national with over 30 years experience in mushroom growing and agricultural projects in Europe & Asia. Mark works with his production team to meet the qualilty standards and volume demand while complying with HAACP, GAP and HALAL certifications.
Sales & Marketing Manager (Singapore)
Valerie Chiu
Valerie is in charge of Sales and Marketing for Champ Fungi Singapore. She has over 8 years experience in the fresh food industry which allows her to understand the customers needs. She works with the customers and the rest of the Singapore team to assure that the customers are satisfied.
Sales Manager (Malaysia)
Anthony Lim
Anthony is resposible for the sales and delivery of products to the Malaysian market. He has over 14 years experience in the food industry and understands well what it takes to deliver a fresh product on the shelf. In addition to mushrooms, he is working with our sales team to introduce new products to the market.
Sales Executive (Malaysia)
Sandra Bambang
As the Sales Executive, Sandra helps to plan promotions with the retail outlets as well as continuously evaluating the needs of the hospitality customers. She is a key link between the market and the farm in terms of gathering customer feedback on products and packaging and passing on the feedback to the Q&A department. She also overseas the promoters and merchandisers who are promoting Champ Fungi products in Malaysia.
Export Sales / Product Development
Lim Siew Ching
With her previous 5 years experience as a purchaser of Fresh products, Siew Ching is able to put this experience to good use with her focus on Export Sales at Champ Fungi. She is responsible for managing the export business accounts as well as evaluating new opportunities. In addition, she is a member of a team of staff working on new product development.
Sales Executive
Jimmy Yap
Jimmy manages some of the retail sales channels in the Singapore market and works with the customers to develop the promotion plans. Further, Jimmy overseas a large part of the logistics operations in the Singapore office and warehouse.
